Edith Gladys King of Denbigh Estate Tipton died on 18/10/2002 in russells hall hospital with family by her side. She was born on 23/02/1921. She married George and went on to have 3 daughetrs Maureen Joan and Hilary. She also has 8 grandchildren and they went on to have 20 great granchildren who loved nan very much. Theres Arthur (Frank passed on) and David has son in laws.Nan was funny at times but we all loved her to bits, her mad rages at Grandad was hillarious when she got going.She also loved her dancing and holidays abroad. She had been poorly for a while and finally left us in 2002.

What is Dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'
That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.
